Caroline Duchaine

Professor Caroline Duchaine is the research director.  She is interested in aerobiology and aerovirology, namely sciences dealing with the study of bioaerosols and viral aerosols, respectively.  Mrs. Duchaine is a researcher-grant holder from the Fonds de la recherche en santé du Québec (FRSQ).

Prof. Duchaine is a professor in the Department of Biochemistry, Microbiology and Bioinformatics, Faculty of Science and Engineering of Laval University, Quebec, Canada. She is currently in charge of the Isolement et culture des microorganismes (MCB-2000 and MCB-2001, undergraduate studies, Laval University), and Bioaérosols et aérobiologie (MCB-4003 [undergraduate studies] and MCB-6003 [graduate studies], Laval University) courses. She is also involved, as a visiting professor, in many other programs of both Canadian and American universities.

Caroline Duchaine has won the Prix de la Francophonie pour jeunes chercheurs awarded by the Agence universitaire de la Francophonie in 2006 and has received, on several occasions, the Stellar Professor Award of the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Laval University.
