Richard Reid-Smith is a veterinary epidemiologist (Public Health Agency of Canada). He is the surveillance operations and targeted studies coordinator for Canadian Integrated Program for Antimicrobial Resistance Surveillance (CIPARS). He is the co-lead of Risk work package of the Genomics Research and Development Initiative Interdepartmental Project on AMR. He has co-authored over 150 peer-reviewed papers on AMR and antimicrobial use in humans, animals, food and the environment. He is Adjunct and Associate Graduate Faculty at the Dept. of Population Medicine, U of Guelph. He will be involved in aim 5.
