Co-applicant
Shelley Kirychuk is an industrial hygienist and Assoc. Professor, Department of Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan. She is the Acting Director of the Canadian Centre for Health and Safety in Agriculture, leads the National Agricultural Industrial Hygiene Lab which is ideally equipped to support this project. Her research program is very well funded ($3.9M as a PI, co-PI and $6.5M as a co-applicant) focuses on recognizing, assessing, and controlling exposures to agricultural and rural populations that influence health outcomes. She has published 2 book chapters, 31 manuscripts, and 124 abstracts. She will be in charge of aim 2d in Saskatchewan.
